KANSAS CITY, Mo. --Summer doesn't have to be a time to toss science to the side. FOX 4's Nicole DiAntonio visited Burn's and McDonnell to learn about a science experiment you can eat. The 10-minute ice cream can serve as a lesson in teaching kids about how roads are treated in the winter to prevent freezing.

What You Need

- Ziplock Bag (Quart Size)
- Sharpened Pencils
- Water

How to Make a Magic Bag

- Fill up the bag about ¾ full with water
- Poke the pencils through the bag from one side to the other
