KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Hundreds of people came out to Westport on Sunday afternoon for a Pokemon Go Pub Crawl. The event raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.

"We are going Pokemon Go hunting so you should look the part, dress the part, and have fun with it," said Taneshia Pearl.

Pearl said her best advice for people is to stay hydrated and to keep extra phone chargers so you can play longer.

Carrington Harrison with 610 Sports Radio came up with the idea for the pub crawl. He said it would be a fun way to raise money for a good cause that is close to his heart.

The group raised more than $2,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.
