Police locate family after finding child in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police searching for the guardians of a child found alone in Kansas City on Sunday were able to locate his family.

At approximately 4 p.m., a lost juvenile was located near 43rd Street and Northern Avenue.

For hours, officers were unable to locate the child’s parents or guardians. The child appeared familiar with the area near the apartments but was unable to point out a specific apartment or building.

The child’s family ¬†was located later on Sunday. Police expressed their gratitude for the public’s help.
