INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Police announced early Monday morning that they have canceled a Silver Alert that had been issued for a 78-year old woman.
Independence police issued the Silver Alert for Donna R. Linton Sunday afternoon.

Linton is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with gray hair with blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a light blue robe.
She was last seen around noon on Saturday, and may be driving a white 1999 Chevrolet Malibu with Missouri license plates DB0 L6P.
She reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s and has gone missing in the past.
