OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Railroad officials in Johnson County spent Thursday morning trying to determine how to get a car off the train tracks.

According to police, someone drove onto the tracks between 151st and 159th Streets in Overland Park around 3:50 a.m.

Police say a train engineer saw the vehicle in time and was able to slow down, but still hit the back of the car and damaged it.

No one was injured in the crash.

Police say they eventually tracked down the driver, but it was not clear if the driver will face any charges.
