OLATHE, Kan. -- An Olathe, Kan., man known for his holiday penguin display was recently honored for helping save a man's life.

Paulie's Penguin Playground is a very popular attraction during the holiday season, and Paulie says he puts up his penguins to make people happy.

Russell Little nominated Paulie Craig for FOX 4's Pay-It-Forward award because he said he would like to bring a little more happiness to Paulie, who Little says helped save his life when he suffered a cardiac arrest.

"Well he was literally sitting on the couch in my office downstairs," Craig said. "His brother and I were arguing with him if he felt good enough to drive home, and I look over and his eyes rolled back, and he is not breathing."

Craig said he called for help and started compressions.

"Paul, there's no money in the world ever pay you back saving my life," Little said as he handed Craig the $300.

Craig, appearing shocked, said he will use the money to keep the penguin displays going.
