JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. -- Ladies, if you put off getting a mammogram, now it can come to you. A local company has launched its new mobile mammogram coach, and you can bring it to your business or event.

It's  a big pink tour bus that arrives just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Diagnostic Imaging rolled out the mobile mammograms.

Dr. Linda Harrison, a radiologist, says for a screening mammogram you do not need a doctor's request to receive one. Dr. Harrison said they will only ask for a doctor's name so they can relay the results.

"It's not a long exam," Dr. Harrison said. "It's not really uncomfortable, and it saves lives."

The bus just screens women. Each screening takes 15 to 20 minutes.

Dr. Harrison says women should start getting screened at age 40.
