Fun things to do with the family Oct. 28-30

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- If you have little ones and want to have some Halloween fun, there are lots of options during the weekend of Oct. 28-30.

At Crown Center LEGOLAND and SEALIFE is hosting a series of events. You can build your own pumpkin out of LEGOs and search for monsters at Miniland or join the divers in the ocean tunnel at SEALIFE to watch them carve pumpkins underwater.

In Lee's Summit families and dogs are invited to wear costumes to join in the boos, barks and badges Halloween parade. Kids can trick or treat at local businesses, and there will be an awards ceremony for best costume Saturday, Oct. 29 starting at 10 a.m. Line up for the parade is at 9:30 a.m.

In Louisburg the Cedar Cove Feline Conservatory is hosting its 10th annual Halloween "Prowl-O-Ween." Their event is both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
