Independence police seek public’s help to locate man they believe has info about recent homicide case

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Independence police are asking for the public’s help to locate an individual they’d like to talk with about a recent homicide.

Travon M. Williams is believed to have information that may help police solve the homicide of Jacobsen L. Laumoli, 27, of Independence.

Laumoli was shot to death Sunday, Oct. 30 near E. 12th Terrace and S. Holke Road.

Williams is described as a 21-year-old black male who is five feet nine inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.
