KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Cars 4 Heroes has helped thousands of veterans with transportation over the years.

In honor of Veterans Day the organization decided to surprise two women with vehicles.

Krystyl Dulle is an Air Force veteran who currently works with the VFW. She also has two children.

Krystyl says the vehicle will be very helpful to get her to and from work.

A family of seven children also got a pretty big surprise from Cars 4 Heroes.

Angela Delatorre-Carver, whose husband is a veteran, was shopping in Red Racks Friday, when she got her surprise.

In the parking lot, Cars 4 Heroes had a van waiting for her.

Angela said she has been trying to find a job and the van will help her in her search and help her transport her children.

The Disabled American Veterans also donated $200 gift certificates to both Krystyl and Angela. The gift certificates can be used at Red Racks Thrift Store.
