The impact killed a teenage boy who was a passenger. Three other people, including the driver were transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries. They are all listed in serious condition.

Witnesses tell police that the car had been speeding up and down the street,  possibly racing or joyriding back and forth. The passengers are all described as teenagers.

Police say as the car raced north on Spring Valley the driver swerved and lost control, which caused the car to wrap around a tree on the parkway.

Neighbors say this is no way to get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Police are doing their best to console the family, but it's not an easy task. Police call it a  tough situation for everyone involved.
