ST. LOUIS -- The widow of a St. Louis County police officer killed in the line of duty continues to mourn his loss, and is receiving support from the community. Elizabeth Snyder posted to Facebook on Tuesday that someone gave her son Malachi two Teddy Bears made with Officer Blake Snyder's uniform.

Officer Snyder was shot and killed early on the morning of October 6. He was responding to a call for a disturbance in south St. Louis County. An 18-year-old has been charged with murder for the shooting.

In addition to the bears, FOX 2 reports that Elizabeth Snyder has extolled the community for their support, saying that she and her son will always remember their care during a trying time in their lives.
