S.T.E.A.M. Team decorates a ‘chemis-tree’

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean you need to toss science out into the cold.  Chris Steinauer and Heather Edvenson of Science City's S.T.E.A.M. Team share their fun take on a 'chemis-tree.'

All you need is sugar water and a food coloring. Watch the video above to learn how they work together to create the final product.

Science City is doing a lot of activities focused on fun and learning, so head to Union Station and check it out.
