Schools cancel, delay classes due to too much rain

Please double-check your school’s status on Tuesday before staying home. Schools did not follow standard protocol for reporting closings; however, here are the schools closed on Tuesday:

Adrian R-3 School District tweeted that there is no school due to high water

Blue Springs School District said some roadsĀ around Voy Spears, Jr. Elementary area are impassable. Buses will be delayed.

Center School District- reported by Kelly Wachel, Communications Executive Director

Clinton School District- reported through district Twitter (see below)

Harrisonville, Mo, School District- Life Radio

Holden R-III School District posted to Facebook that buses may not be able to go down certain roads (see their post below)

Osawatomie School District #367 posted to Facebook that school is canceled (see their Facebook post below)

Park Hill Schools have delayed buses (see the Tweet below)

Smithville R-II, delayed two hours (Twitter account)
