One person killed in Kansas City car crash near Noland and Blue Parkway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died Thursday night after a crash on Kansas City’s east side. The crash happened Thursday afternoon at Noland Road and Blue Parkway.

The Kansas City Police Department report says that the driver of a white van was headed southbound on Frost and crossed the centerline, striking a silver SUV. The van then struck a passenger car behind the SUV  after it was forced off of the road and flipped in a ditch.

The SUV driver was taken to a hospital where they died a short time later, they haven’t been identified in any way yet. The van driver and two passengers were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The passenger car driver wasn’t hurt.

The crash is still under investigation.
