KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Did you look up at the sky Monday evening and notice a haze around the moon?

Believe it or not - it was caused by smoke coming from wildfires in the western united states.

In the video, photojournalist Jon Haiduk and FOX 4 Chief Meteorologist Mike Thompson explain the phenomenon.
