FOX 4 spoke to Baker’s cousin, Chris. He said Tommy was on his way to pick up a two-liter bottle of soda.

“We were watching the game. He wanted me to ride with him and I said, ‘nah I’m going to watch the game. You’ll be right back.’ This is what right back is,” Chris said.

Chris said he would’ve likely been in that SUV with his cousin if the Saints weren’t playing at the time.
