Charred wood process keeps damaging bugs and fungi out of garden beds

FOX 4's Carey Wickersham was up bright and early Sunday to check out the Johnson County Home and Garden show to get a jump on planning for spring decorating.

She met up with the folks at Green Thumbelina -- the only company in the country who specializes in charred wood garden beds.

The charring process chemically changes the wood to keep away damaging bugs and fungi.
