Two teens dead after arriving at Truman Medical with gunshot wounds

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two teenage boys are dead after arriving at a hospital suffering gunshot injuries Monday night.

The shooting victims reportedly arrived at Truman Medical Center shortly before 8:30 p.m., but did not survive their injuries.

Jeremiah Stewart was one of the teens killed in the shooting.

Officers later determined the shooting took place near 36th & Wabash.

Police identified the victims on Tuesday at 16-year-old Jeremiah Stewart and 15-year-old Demonte Walker.

Police did not release any suspect information. The investigation is ongoing.
