Alex Gordon hits deer in KCK but walks away without any injuries

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A Kansas City, Kansas police officer who responded to a crash Sunday night got quite the surprise.

The driver involved was Royals outfielder Alex Gordon.

Gordon hit a deer along  I-635 and K5. Thankfully he was not injured.

KCK Police Chief Terry Zeigler shared a photo of Gordon and Officer Mathis, who responded to the scene, on Instagram.
