50-year-old man taken to hospital after shooting in Liberty

LIBERTY, Mo. — Liberty police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday.

The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. along Kings Highway near where it intersects with North Stewart Road.

Police do not believe the shooting was random.

A 50-year-old man was injured and taken to the hospital.

Police have not said what led up to the shooting or said if they have a suspect in custody.
