Suspected drunk driver plows through KCK convenience store, police say

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — KCK police are investigating after a suspected drunk driver crashed into convenience store Thursday evening.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. near S 42nd Street and Metropolitan Avenue.

According to Police Chief Terry Zeigler, the driver of the truck may have been intoxicated.

No customers were inside of the store at the time of the crash. A store clerk was inside, but was not injured.
