Teenager in critical condition after shooting in KCK, man expected to be okay

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A man and a teenager were shot Tuesday night in KCK. The teenager has critical injuries and the man is expected to be physically okay, police said.

The double shooting happened just after 10 p.m. near Douglas Avenue and 15th Street.

Detectives said they were both sitting in a car when another car drove up alongside and started shooting.

No suspect information has been released at this time, and details about what led up to the shooting were not immediately available.
