Adriana Davalos hosts Great Day KC on FOX4 Monday through Friday at 11 a.m.
Davalos joins FOX4 from Nexstar sister station, WNCN CBS17 where she helped launch a brand-new lifestyle show for the Raleigh-Durham market. She was responsible for producing and co-hosting the 30-minute live-to-tape program.
Prior to CBS17, she worked at WJFW NBC12 where she successfully lived out her dream running her own show, “Up North @ 4.” She served as the main anchor and producer. Adriana highlighted people, places, and fun things to do in Northern Wisconsin. Her efforts won her a Wisconsin Broadcasting Association Award for Best Specialty Program 2019.
Adriana got her start in the entertainment industry at the age of 19 freelancing for Splash Magazines Worldwide. The magazine gave her experience covering Hollywood’s biggest events, red carpets, galas, and award shows.
At 25, she went on to create her own blog-magazine to highlight Hollywood happenings. Between the two online sites, she’s interviewed some of the biggest names in television, film, music and sports such as the late Kobe Bryant, Mario Lopez, Guiliana Rancic, Fergie and much more.
Adriana is originally from San Jose, California, and a California State University graduate with a BA in Communication Studies.
In her free time, you can catch her watching the latest blockbuster film, eating out at new restaurants, traveling, getting in quick a workout, and facetiming her family and friends back home.
She’s excited to call Kansas City her new home and attend as many Chiefs and Royals games as possible.
