Emily joined Great Day KC as a producer in January 2022 after eight years of producing on the FOX4 Morning Show.
Born in Humble, Texas, she spent most of her childhood in Overland Park, Kansas.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas in 2012.
She served as supervising producer for FOX4’s summer Zip Trips from 2018-2021 where she planned and executed three-hour live shows on location. She’s also produced countless themed shows to support local teams such as the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals.
In her free time, Emily enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, Philip. Together, they love to take their two dogs, Sawyer and Munro, to the dog park. You can also find Emily exercising at a local gym or reading a good book.
