After Jefferson City tornado damage, Special Olympics Missouri sees inspiring rebuild


KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For 50 years, Special Olympics Missouri has been providing people of all ability levels with an outlet for competition and inclusion.

Two years ago, just months after the completion of a state-of-the-art training campus in Jefferson City, disaster struck when a tornado hit the facility.

Susan Stegeman, president and CEO of Special Olympics Missouri, explains how people from all walks answered the call to help rebuild the facility.
