KANSAS CITY, Mo. — With obesity rising, you might think there’s a “fat chance” that adults’ cholesterol levels would be dropping. But new research finds they have been dropping slightly since the late 1980’s.
The average total cholesterol number decreased from 206 to 196, according to new research in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
