OLATHE, Kan. — Before you get a flu shot, you fill out a form. That paperwork could slow down the process of getting tens of thousands of people vaccinated or treated in a public health emergency.
That’s why the Johnson County Health Department created an online system called Dispense Assist. You fill out the form online and then bring it with you to the clinic.
FOX 4 Medical Reporter Meryl Lin McKean says other health departments around the country are starting to use the system.
