KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Once a month KCPD Chief Darryl Forte joins the FOX 4 Morning Show to chat about issues around the area.

Wednesday, March 2,  Chief Forte discussed how important it is for witnesses to call the TIPS Hotline and pass along any information that may help officers solve crimes. Chief Forte says even a partial license plate or partial description can be beneficial.

"It's very important," Chief Forte said. "When you look at KC Crime Stoppers, they received over 4,500 tips last year and were able to help our law enforcement, local, state, federal apprehend over 159 fugitives and solve 241 cases."

To share a tip with law enforcement, call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
