Simple Elegance LLC was here to talk about tips when using social media to plan your wedding.

Pinterest is probably the hottest ticket on the web right now for wedding planning.

You can type in the color of wedding that you want to plan for example, Emerald which is the hot fall color right now or you can even type in Kansas City Wedding Venues to see what many venues look like on the inside and out. Great for bride's who need ideas and also for bride's who have a hard time visualizing their venue with different looks. Pinterest also offers a limited amount of secret boards per user that they can choose to share them or not. For example, a bride can share a board with her florist, planner and maybe her mom and the maid of honor but no one else can see it., therefore keeping her wedding details a secret until the wedding day.

Blogs also offer great advice and pictures for brides to look at and gather more ideas.
At Simple Elegance, we post many real weddings and list the vendor team that made it possible. It is a great way to see a picture of something that you may like and then call the vendor who put it together. It also brings the client to a local level seeing what is happening right here in KC.

Another national blog and website that makes planning easy is Style Me Pretty. Creating design or inspiration boards on this site can lead the bride in the right direction from overall design to the tiniest of details like guest favors or the signature drink. You can even search by season.

Facebook offers another digital way for brides to keep up on current tips, trends or discounts that wedding professionals are offering. Since it is a permission based sharing, bride's should go out and 'Like' wedding companies while she is planning her wedding and take advantage of FB ideas, specials and discounts.
