OLATHE, Kan. -- The Olathe Northwest football team started an event last year to give their fans with special needs the experience of being an Allstar athlete.

The rewarding event was so successful that they're doing it again this year.

The Showdown Allstar Game is Sunday, July 19.

Tailgating starts at 5 p.m. with the game at 6:30 p.m. at the Miracle League Field, 11031 S. Valley Rd.

It features students from all four Olathe high schools, as they cheer on and team-up with the Allstars.
