1 Tablespoon dried, minced onion
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
1 Tablespoon dried parsley
2 teaspoons green pepper flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3/4 teaspoon Italian seasonings
1/4 teaspoons dried, minced garlic
Combine all ingredients, store in an airtight container. Makes about 1/3 cup.
To serve: Brown one pound ground beef, drain. Add two, 8 oz. cans tomato sauce, a 6 oz. can tomato paste, 2 3/4 cups tomato juice or water and seasoning mix to beef. Simmer sauce 30 minutes. Serve over pasta. Makes 4-6 servings.
