As you get ready for work in the morning, do you have that feeling of dread? Do you have to face that person you don't care for and they don't care for you?
Doctor Rachel Glik is a counselor, and she says you should see this as an opportunity for personal growth, KTVI reports.
“Once you've seized that opportunity, I think it's really important to learn diplomacy, to not be able to be reactive,” Dr. Glik said. “To be more centered with who you are before you respond and what language you can approach that situation with based on what you know about them.”
She says that if you can't make it work with the co-worker your best bet may be to just let it go and not get emotionally invested in the situation.
