More than half of all adults would like to eat breakfast every day, yet only one-third actually do. Hy-Vee Registered Dietitian, Bethany Frazier, will remind your audience about not only the health benefits of breakfast, but also how convenient making breakfast a part of a regular routine can be. Bethany will also show a fast and easy recipe to pack protein into their breakfast meals.
All you need:
- ¼ cup protein powder
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
All you do:
- Mix together all ingredients until a batter consistency is formed.
- Heat a skillet to medium-high heat.
- Drop about 1/8 cup of batter onto heated skillet. When batter starts to bubble, flip and cook until browned on both sides.
- Serve warm with fresh fruit.
