KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sunday was National Gold Star Mothers and Families Day, which is a day to honor mothers and their children who have died in combat.
Sunday the “Remembering Our Fallen” memorial visited Kansas City.
It’s a memorial of all the men and women who have been killed in combat since September 11th.
Debbie Austin, a volunteer with the memorial, stopped by the FOX 4 studio on Sunday to share more information. Watch her interview in the video player above.
