OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Plan to treat yourself to a glass of cold lemonade on Thursday, July 30, and when you do, you'll be helping families at Ronald McDonald House of Kansa sCity.

The city-wide lemonade stand program encourages people to set up their own lemonade stands and donate the proceeds to Ronald McDonald House.

Those who enter are eligible for prizes.

Lemonade stands will be set up at various McDonald's restaurants in the city prior to July 30 to sample the new fresh strawberry lemonade.

The big event is Thursday, July 30 at the McDonald's across from Oak Park Mall, 11600 W. 95th Street. Hours are Noon-2 p.m.
