One day in the not so distant future you may pay with your palm.

A student from Lunf University in Sweden developed vein recognition technology. Customers first enter a code before placing their palm over the device.

The creator said a big advantage is the system’s security. He says every individual’s vein pattern is completely different, so there is no way of committing fraud.

Several stores and restaurants in Sweden are using the technology.
