(CNN) — Ayvani Perez, the 14-year-old girl who was kidnapped early Tuesday from her home in an Atlanta suburb by two armed men during a home invasion, has been found alive, the FBI told CNN Wednesday.

Ayvani Hope Perez was last seen wearing blue and gray Star Wars pajama bottoms and a blue and gray superhero shirt, according to the details of the Amber Alert issued after she was abducted.

The two suspects, described as black men who were wearing dark clothing, pried open the family’s back door at around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday in Ellenwood, Georgia, according to police. Perez’ mother told investigators she tried to hide her two children but the gunmen found them and demanded money and jewelry.

Police say the two men shot the family dog — which survived — and abducted Ayvani after the family failed to meet their demands.

No other information has been made available at this time.
