CHICAGO -- Most of us don't remember our senior quotes, but one man's words are getting a lot of attention after he made a prediction that, 23 years later, might actually come true.

Below his 1993 senior photo at Mission Viejo High School in California, Michael Lee is quoted, "Chicago Cubs. 2016 World Champions. You heard it here first."

Lee's former classmate Marcos Meza provided video proof that the message is, in fact, real.

Meza said after the Dodgers lost, he posted the photo on August 8, hoping that it would go viral. And it has. The photo is quickly making the rounds on social media, even being noticed by FOX Sports.

"When [Lee and I] connected on Facebook in 2009 I sent him the photo and told him we were nearing 2016. He posted the photo of his prediction on August 8th," Meza said. "After my Dodgers lost it was time for me to make this go viral and BeLEEve in the Cubs for 2016."

Only time will tell if Lee's prediction comes true. The world is watching.
