4 charged after east side carjacking at gunpoint

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Prosecutors announced late Friday four people have been charged in connection to a carjacking on Tuesday on the east side of Kansas City, Mo.

Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said Gregory Lastiee Jr., 18, and Julian Evans, 21, face robbery and armed criminal action charges.  Endia Denton, 17, and Jonathan Thompson face tampering, resisting, robbery and armed criminal action charges.

According to court documents, the victim was leaving work when one of the four pointed a gun at her and pulled her from the car. That car was later seen at a home nearby when police were called and four people were arrested.

A $150,000 bond has been set for each person charged.
