LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- Lee's Summit police arrested two robbery suspects and continue to look for a third after an armed robbery at 23rd and Hub in Independence.

At about 1:00 a.m., a 911 operator received a call about a robbery. The person gave a good description of the getaway car and police spotted it quickly. Within a minute after seeing the car, police chased it for approximately 15 seconds before the suspects went off the road near I-470 and Colbern.

The suspects bailed into some nearby woods and hid until the canine unit caught up with two of them. Several other agencies including Kansas City and Missouri Highway Patrol helped in the search.
