AT&T hiring more than 300 in Kansas and Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Despite recent job cuts in the telecom industry, AT&T announced that it is hiring.

AT&T said they will hire more than 300 people for both their Missouri and Kansas locations.

With this announcement, 40 jobs in the metro area will open.

AT&T will hire for the following positions:

  • Retail sales
  • Call center positions
  • Technical positions

AT&T currently employs 12,000 people in Kansas and Missouri.

The company hired 1,500 between the two states last year.  Almost 340 were hired in the metro area.
