KANSAS CITY, Kan. — One person was taken to the hospital following a crash Wednesday in Kansas City, Kansas.
The incident was reported just after 1 p.m. on westbound I-670 at I-70 near Mill Street.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the driver made an avoidance maneuver and struck a concrete wall, went airborne, rolled twice along the barrier, and struck a bridge. Air bags were deployed and the 18-year-old male driver had to be extracted from the vehicle.
He was taken to the hospital with suspected serious injuries. He was wearing a seat belt, according to KHP.
