OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- With the Masters just a couple months away, thousands of golfers attended the Kansas City Golf Show to get an early start to the early spring season.
This week's unusually warm weather has allowed for a season which typically doesn't start until mid-march, to swing in a bit early.
The Kansas City Golf Show took place at the Overland Park Convention Center and featured clubs, gear, apparel and equipment from major manufacturers.
Dick Stephans is the Show Owner of Kansas City Golf Show. He said the event has brought in nearly 7,000 golfers during the three day course.
"Golf is alive and this is a community that has banded together. We want them to take a way that no matter where you live in Kansas City, you can be at any golf course in 35 minutes," said Stephans.
If you missed this year's golf show, it returns to Kansas City next February.
