Blue Man Group, the popular avant guard performance art trio, brings their unusual theatrical presentation to Kansas City’s Music Hall. The production is part of their first North American tour

The show runs December 13-18, and features both new and “classic” Blue Man Group material.

Founded by Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton in 1987, Blue Man Group has evolved into a minor industry, with continuous shows Off Broadway and in Las Vegas, as well as in cities around the world. More than 17 million people have attended their performances.

Blue Man Group combines comedy, music and multimedia theatrics…and gallons of blue paint…into a unique stage concoction that has found a ready audience. If Jackson Pollack had been alien triplets playing homemade musical instruments, his art may have looked a bit like that of Blue Man Group.

The New York Times has called the show, “One of the most delightful performances ever staged.” E! Entertainment News says, “Blue Man Group is what every live performance aspires to be.”
