OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Police say they found explosives at a house near 116th and Hauser Street on Thursday night.

A bomb squad was called in, and FOX 4’s crew at the scene said that authorities with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation were at the house.

One man was in police custody and taken to jail, he may be formally charged with criminal use of explosives according to a spokesman.

Police say there is no threat to the neighborhood, but the investigation is ongoing. More details are expected to be released on Friday.
