INDEPENDENCE, Mo. —  Some area boy scouts are on a camp out like none other Saturday night; one they are certain to remember for years to come.

The boys will be sleeping in cardboard boxes in support of the homeless.

They collected coats, hats, gloves and other winter essentials to donate to the homeless.

FOX 4’s Monica Evans has more on their efforts to help.
