KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a busy Kansas City, Mo., Quik Trip Thursday morning.

Police said the robbery occurred at 6:15 a.m. at the Quik Trip located at 44th and Main. Police said the suspect handed the clerk a misspelled note demanding money. No one was injured in the incident.

After the robbery, the convenience store closed for about an hour while police conducted an investigation. Outside, police located the suspect’s gloves and the cash drawer behind the store, which has since reopened.

Police are looking at surveillance video to determine further suspect information.
