KANSAS CITY, Mo. – They drove in, presumably for burgers and fries, and drove out victims of an armed robbery. A Kansas City police report states a cab driver and passenger were at Winstead’s on 101 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. when the crime occurred early on Friday morning.

The report states that two black males, each carrying a pistol, approached the cab as it sat waiting in the drive-thru. They took $120 from the driver and passenger and fled.

No injuries were reported. A suspect description was not given and the report indicates that surveillance video didn’t capture the crime on camera.
