KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The owner of Jasper’s Italian Restaurant shared surveillance footage that shows his “Cannoli Mobile” being stolen from the parking lot.

Video shows thieves taking the white van from the lot and heading east onto 103rd Street behind another white vehicle.

“They pulled up and they parked on the other side of the van,” said Jasper Mirabile, owner of Jasper’s Italian Restaurant. “The girl stayed in the car. The guy got out. He actually broke the window. You see the glass there.”

Someone stole the cannoli Mobile. 4:42 PM in our parking lot at 103rd & Stateline. I also have video surveillance. Last seen going into Windsong apartments on 103rd St.

It’s National Cannoli Cannoli Month. So sad! Please call the Kansas City Missouri please if you see the Cannoli van.

Jasper Mirabile

It’s especially bad timing for Mirabile who said he needs it for several jobs coming up.

“We use it for catering. I have a few big catering jobs coming up,” he said. “I’ll have to go rent a truck in the meantime, but you won’t have that Cannoli Mobile sitting outside. That’s what bothers me.”

This isn’t the first time the van has been stolen.

“Now I don’t have my van. It upset me at the beginning, but now, I just shake my head at it,” Mirabile said. “What are you going to do?”

Anyone who sees the van is asked to call the Kansas City Police Department or the TIPS Hotline.
